Graham Entwistle, IT Manager at Simon Jersey comments,
‘we see eBusiness as an important area of investment
for our company. We want to provide our customers
with the highest levels of service. The solutions
from Datel will enable us not only to provide the
ability for our customers to order online at their
convenience, it will also enable us to provide the
online wardrobe facility for those customers who we
provide a managed service to.’
‘We selected Datel’s solution for two
key reasons, firstly they demonstrated an understanding
of the complexities of the corporate clothing industry
and this was reflected in the level of functionality
in their online wardrobe management solution and secondly
Datel embraced the enhancements to the product that
we required to meet the most demanding customer requirements.
In doing so they have produced a website that is,
we believe, functionally superior to any other corporate
clothing website offering. We are currently working
to go live with our first customer on the online wardrobe
management solution.’
Neil Boston, Sales Director added, ‘On the
strength of the Datel system we have recently won
a €1 million contract with a major multi-site
retailer in France, for which we were competing against
3 French uniform specialists.’
Martin Rath, Director at Datel added, ‘We are
delighted to be working with Simon Jersey on this
project. The solution will enable Simon Jersey to
deliver a flexible online ordering, enquiring and
tracking system, with full wardrobe management. Customers
utilising this service will benefit from enhanced
services levels and improved budget control.’
